The giant panda looks very cute but is a dangerous animal. they have big heads and short tails. they are white with black eyes patches, black ears, feet, chest and shoulders. the male giant panda is big. it stands up to five feet tall (1.50 meters), and weighs up to 265 pounds (120 kilos). the female giant panda is smaller and weighs less. they live in the mountains in China. the giant panda eats mainly bamboo, even though it is classifiend as carnivore. the giant panda is an endangerd species, which means it is in danger of becoming extinct. it is endangered because its habitat is getting smaller, and because there is less area for it to live in. it lives in small populations of only 250 mature adults.
